How Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps Children affected by Trauma
What is TF-CBT?
TF-CBT is an evidence-based therapeutic modality designed to specifically treat children, ages 3-17, affected by PTSD and trauma. TF-CBT also engages families and teaches caregivers how to support their children in dealing with the aftermath of trauma.
How long does TF-CBT take?

– Has your child been diagnosed or shows symptoms of PTSD;
-Does your child avoid talking about the traumatic event or becomes very distressed when encounters trauma reminders;
-Does your child seem overly alert, on guard, jumpy or easily startled;
